The Comeback: Dodge Charger 2017
Have you heard of an even more famous car aside from the Dodge Charger? The Dodge Charger was able to achieve the name as one of the coolest cars ever driven by speed racers and celebrities everywhere, and is even used in hall of fame movies such as Death Proof, The Fast & The Furious, Bullitt, and The Dukes of Hazard.
It is normal that people tend to imagine the 1969 model upon hearing about the Charger. But will the well-known muscle car still have the same qualities and features from its first appearance about half a century ago? Dodge is actually planning to reinvent the Charger to its 2017 model with the right ratio of classical and modern taste. The question will now be, will it succeed?
How it Works
Execution is probably the most important part of a muscle car especially something as famous as the Charger. What’s great about the 2017 model is that it surpasses this. There is a wide variety of engines to choose from the new Charger, but performance wise you must check out the Hellcat. It is able to accelerate the car from 0-60mph in just 4.1 seconds due to its supercharged 6.2 liter V8. Just the mere excitement it brings when you are on the wheel of the Hellcat makes it a must try. Visit Dodge dealers in your area and ask for a test drive so that you can fully understand what is being said here. But the other models are not bad either!
Capacity and luxury
In search for a sedan with the proper clearance and convenience perfect for your family? Sorry, but you are in for some disappointment. The 2017 Challenger cannot meet the standards mentioned above compared to most sedans. But, this does not necessarily mean that its space will make you feel crashed every time you are inside the car. The seats are made large enough so that your shoulders and legs will still have comfortable space especially in front. Although the ceiling will be a drawback for tall drivers. Also, it is in no way ideal to be a family car. So in buying a Charger, make sure that this is not your purpose.
There are standard safety features installed in the Charger such as the front seat side-impact airbags, antillck disc brakes, side curtain airbags, and stability and traction control. You will also be able to choose to activate automatic breaking, rear collision sensors, and blind spot warning system. These features might seem as though not a necessity, but best believe that it is there for a reason especially because of safety.
As a summary, the Dodge Charger has a little bit of everything needed in a muscle car. It has never been the ideal car for family trips and school purposes.
